Lace Baby Sweater

Skill Level: Experienced. This sweater has a band of fairly easy to knit lace.
Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine weight yarn. Yarn should be very soft for baby. Will need approximately 5 to 6 ounces, depending on size.
 

Lace hearts rim this sweater. Knit from the neck down, charts give typical sizes for babies. Make easy booties in matching yarn.

As with all SpinCraft Knitting Patterns this sweater can be knit to any size, using a variety of yarns. We recommend a baby weight, or sport weight yarn for this particular item. You will need some measurements of the baby. Then measure the gauge that comes from your yarn, and then perform some easy calculations to get the figures needed to knit this sweater. Typical baby sizes are given with this pattern.

I made mine with a very soft cormo wool, blended with a bit of silk and bunny hair. I wish you could feel how soft it is! Wonderful. Be sure when you make this sweater that you use a fiber suitable for a little baby.
