Four Vest Patterns in this Pack

SpinCraft's "Knit from the Top" method is best way ever to make a vest! So easy, and it is "Knit so it Fits" -- which means you knit away until it fits. Measurements are easy. And it comes out with such a great fit. I just can't believe that it took me somany years of designing knitting patterns to come up with this idea. But now that it's here, I want to do it over and over. And fortunately, this shape has unlimited variations that can be added.

Also for the beginning knitter, is the traditionally easy vest - The Sheperds Vest. Basically a long rectangle with a hole in the middle for the head. So many people start their knitting careers with this vest and it is a must-have for the knitters library.

• Easiest Vest Ever: Neck and arms are shaped like magic. The most versatile and easiest vest design ever! Armholes and neck are knit onto the body in one piece by casting on for the neck and making raglan decreases. No dividing for arm and neckholes! As you can see from the photographs, below, the variations on this vest are unlimited. You really become the designer with this open pallet.
• Turtle Vest: This vest was inspired by an ancient Native American Hohokam design. I made mine from natural colored cottons. The yoke on this vest is super easy because it is knit all in one piece. Shape is created by decreases.
• Sheperd's Vest: This is a simple pattern that is appreciated by beginning knitters. Pattern starts at the bottom front, arms and neck and shaped, and back is finished to match. All in one piece then folded over at the shoulders and side seams sewn. Two neck variations. My vests are plain - you add the flare.
• Tank Top: A nice summer project from cotton or hemp. This tank top is easy to knit and easy to fit. Made in the same way as "Easiest Vest."

Yarn Suggestion: Good with virtually any yarn! Will need approximately 6-12 ounces per vest, depending on size.
