Four Sideways Sweater Patterns in this Pack
Skill Level: Intermediate, with enough variations to please the experienced knitter.
Wouldn't it be great if you could start a sweater at one side and work to the other? Or how about start all the way out at the sleeve and work to the other sleeve. Well, it can be done and this set of patterns will teach you how to do it!
These patterns give you several options for working sideways sweaters. One even uses a fancy entrelac stitch for a very exotic work of art.
Three of these sweaters can be made on a knitting machine.

- Sleeve-to-Sleeve Sweater: This sweater can actually be made on a knitting machine. But I think it's more fun to knit by hand. You start the project at one sleeve, work across the back and front, and finish on the second sleeve. All in one piece!
- Short Sleeve-to-Sleeve Sweater: Basically the same as above, but with some different shaping. This sweater has a very attractive two-color band at the bottom, and a great shape.
- Entrelac Sweater: Great entrelac knitting worked from sleeve to sleeve. This sweater is nice and bulky when done. Entrelac knitting is explained with easy charts and instructions.
- Side to Side Sweater: This is a bit different from the Sleeve to Sleeve sweater as you just do the body of the garment from side to side, and then pick up for each sleeve and knit it down to desired length. This version is much easier to get to fit right. It has a lovely shape and is very easy and fun to do. Side to Side Sweater can be knit on a knitting machine.

Yarn Suggestion: Virtually any type of yarn will do for these projects. Will need approximately 20-24 ounces, depending on size.
