- Pine Forest Hat: This pattern has a very traditional pattern for a brimmed hat, with an option for a nice tree landscape knit in with two colors. Then the pattern takes it a step further and gives instructions for a nice face mask using the same techniques. Also included is a headband.
- Ear Flap Hats: This type of hat keeps the ears very warm. Instructions are for a traditional ear flap hat with the flaps well placed to actually cover the ears. Allows many options for color combinations. Even a lined version, and instructions how to make an ear flap hat on your knitting machine.
- Cable Hat: This is an easy, and traditional type, hat with one attractive cable for interest.
- Tams: Nothing is more fun than knitting a tam, and this pattern gives you many options. You can knit them from the center out, or start at the brim and work inwards. Color combinations are unlimited.
- Many Headbands: Headbands are the best thing for keep the ears warm. This pattern has five nice variations.

Yarn Suggestion: These patterns use everything from a fine yarn, to a thick and bulky. Will need approximately 4-5 ounces per hat, depending on size.

gauge that comes from your yarn, and then perform some easy calculations to get
