Not so busy as a usual cabled vest, and interesting to knit. Or why not knit a vest starting at one side and ending at the other? - Cable One Side Vest: Attractive vest with one cable. A great beginner's project. This vest is begun at the bottom ribbing and worked up. A very good first cable project - you'll find that cables are easy and fun to knit. Surprisingly simple instructions show how to make a matching hat that fits perfectly.
- Side to Side Vest: Can be made as a cardigan or a Pullover. Start at one side and work to the other. Can be made on a knitting machine. As you can see from the pictures, there are unlimited style variations. Instructions are given for adding sleeves to the side-to-side vest to create a lovely, nice fitting, sweater.
- 'Til the Yarn Runs Out Vest: This vest is easy to knit from the top down. You can make it as long as you wish - just keep going until your yarn runs out. It is begun at yoke and shaped with simple increases (like a modified raglan). I used texture and lace patterns on my vest.
