Double Knitting Doll Pattern
Skill Level: Intermediate. Double knitting is a little tricky until you see what's happening. Then it is suddenly very easy.
Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Just need bits of leftover yarn for each bear.

These adorable bears are quick to work up - the perfect project for scraps of yarn. They are made with a special knitting technique called, Double Knitting. This is an ingenious technique where a tube is knit on a flat needle. Making your first tube might be a little challenging, but once you see what is going on, you will be hooked and will want to make tubes for everything!
Double Knitting is perfect for whipping up little yarn bears--and they are the cutest thing ever when done. I can probably knit a bear up in an hour or two. I love to give them as presents to little kids, or pass them out as gifts as I travel.
As with all SpinCraft Knitting Patterns this item can be knit to any size, using almost any yarn. The tubes can be made to any size. You are the designer!
