Skill Level: Experienced. Lots of great lace on this cape.
Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Use a soft yarn so it will be comfortable. Will need approximately 20-24 ounces, depending on size.
 

Wrap up with a good book and this snuggly cape: cables and lace patterns enhance this easy project. Knit from the collar down. Lots of texture keeps the knitting interesting. Buttons up the front.

Knit Shawl Pattern

Skill Level: Experienced. This pattern uses a fairly easy lace chart. The first shaping is a bit challenging, but once you get going, you'll be able to sit back and knit with brainless bliss.
Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Will need approximately 12 to24 ounces, depending on size. Nice thing about this shawl is that you can just knit until your yarn runs out. Can be virtually any size.
 

Lace Baby Sweater

Skill Level: Experienced. This sweater has a band of fairly easy to knit lace.
Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine weight yarn. Yarn should be very soft for baby. Will need approximately 5 to 6 ounces, depending on size.
 

Lace hearts rim this sweater. Knit from the neck down, charts give typical sizes for babies. Make easy booties in matching yarn.

Lace Baby Bunting

Skill Level: Experienced. Has lace bands on front
Yarn Suggestion: Made with a fine yarn for the ribbings, and medium weight for body. Will need approximately 2 to 3 ounces fine, and 12 to 13 ounces medium weight, depending on size.
 

Hooded bunting is knit with lace design down the front. Crocheted version is a simple saque. Both are warm and comfy when made with soft fibers.

Knit Christmas Sock Pattern

Skill Level: Experienced. Beautiful two-color Nordic knitting, or try Argyle.
Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Will need approximately 6 ounces of yarn in 3 colors for Argyle, and 2 colors for Nordic.
 

Your choice - make an easy-cut woven sock, or get out the knitting needles and work intricate Nordic or Argyle patterns. Sock are nice and big to hold lots of presents.
