Bottom Up: Colorful Knit Sweater

Skill Level: Intermediate. Will be folowing three color knitting chart.
Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Will need approximately 20 to 24 ounces, depending on size. Several ounces of that will be two contrasting colors.

This sweater is knit from the bottom up with easy decreases for yoke. All in one piece. Charted patterns make it easy to knit in your favorite herd of sheep in a fenced field. Add as many sheep as you like.

Color and Texture Knit Sweater

Skill Level: Intermediate. This sweater uses stripes of different colors worked in a variety of knit-purl texture patterns given in charts.
Yarn Suggestion: Good with any type of yarn from fine to bulky. Will need approximately 20 to 24 ounces, depending on size.

Bottom Up: Colorful Knit Sweater

 Skill Level: Intermediate. Will follow four-color knitting chart.
Yarn Suggestion: Any weight yarn. Will need approximately 20 to 24 ounces in different colors, depending on size. Great project for using up all that yarn from your scrap pile.

Side: Knit Sweater

Skill Level: Intermediate. My version is done in plain stockinette stitch throughout, and then worn purl side out.
Yarn Suggestion: Good with any yarn. Mine is made with a variagated dyed yarn. Will need approximately 24 to 26 ounces, depending on size.

Start at one sleeve and knit all the way over to the other. Measure right and it will fit like a glove! Can be made on a knitting machine. It's easy. Very easy to make vertical stripes.

Side: Colorful Knit Sweater

Skill Level: Intermediate. Easy to do stripes are followed by band knit from three-color knitting chart.
Yarn Suggestion: Good with any weight yarn from fine to bulky. Will need approximately 12 to 20 ounces, depending on size. This is a good project for some of your left-over colors.

Side to Side Sweater Knitting Pattern

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate

This is a very interesting sweater that starts at one side, and is then knit to the other. After the body is finished, sleeves are picked up and knit to length. This sweater is very easy to get to fit, and it can be made as a pullover or a cardigan. As with many SpinCraft Knitting Patterns, you can add your choice of knit stitches, cables, lace or color patterns to this sweater.

Shaped, Textured Knit Vest

Skill Level: Intermediate. Short rows are turned to shape back yoke. After that, vest is quite easy. Yarn Suggestion: Good with any weight yarn. Will need approximately 12 to 15 ounces, depending on size. I used a tweed-like home dyed yarn with 2 ounces of a complimentary color for bands.

Cable & Lace Knit Vest

Skill Level: Intermediate. Lace and cable pattern is fairly easy to work. Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine weight yarn. Will need approximately 8 to 12 ounces, depending on fineness of yarn and size.

Easy-to-do lace pattern is intermingled with cables. It's easy to size. Square shaped vest starts at the shoulders and works down. Pattern includes matching lace gloves and hat.
 

Cable Knit Vest

Skill Level: Intermediate. A great way to learn how to knit cables. Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Will need approximately 14 to 16 ounces, depending on size, weight of yarn and length.

Knit Vest

Skill Level: Intermediate. My versions are done with simple stockinette stitch, but working from the sides takes is slightly beyond a beginner's pattern. Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Will need approximately 16 to 20 ounces, depending on size.
Can be made as a cardigan or a Pullover. Start at one side and work to the other. Can be made on a knitting machine. As you can see from the pictures below, there are unlimited style variations.
