Top Down: Saddle Shoulder

Skill Level: Intermediate. The actual shaping is pretty easy and straight-forward once you understand the saddle shoulder.
Yarn Suggestion: Good with any yarn. My sweater uses lots of great colors from my scrap pile. Will need approximately 20 to 24 ounces, depending on size.

Another great way to knit a sweater with easy calculations. This one starts at the collar going sideways into the two saddle shoulders. The body and sleeves then are knit down from the saddle shoulder panel. You can try it on as you go. It is really easy to get it to fit right, and great for adding lots of colors, knit textures, lace -or- what ever you want. I did mine with over 10 colors of spindle spun yarn!

As with all SpinCraft Knitting Patterns this sweater can be knit to any size, using almost any yarn. What you will do is measure yourself, measure the gauge that comes from your yarn, and then perform some easy calculations to get the figures needed to knit this sweater. You are the designer!
