Pieced Sweaters, Knit and Crochet Patterns
Three Pieced Sweaters in this Pack
Skill Level: Beginner with enough variations to please the experienced knitter.
From the easy to the even more easy! This sampling of sweater patterns is very unique. Here at SpinCraft Patterns we don't usually like to knit something with seams to sew up at the end -- unless there is a really good reason. And these three sweater patterns have a really good reason.
And best of all, these are great 'mindless' knitting projects sure to give you hours and hours of relaxed pleasure and relief from thinking! One of our main reasons for knitting after all.
These three pieced sweaters can be made on a knitting machine.
- Rectangular Pullover Sweater: This is a great beginner's sweater pattern because of the simple square shape. It is basically a long rectangle for the body, with a hole in the middle for the head to go through. Square sleeves are added on.
- One-Piece Blouse: This blouse is actually made from one piece of material. A square with carefully placed slits for folding it into the sleeves and body. This way of making a top is often called the 'Bog Shirt' because it is one of the oldest styles of shirt made. Found on mummies preserved in a bog.
- Patchwork Sweater: The seams in this sweater ARE the design element. Use a colorful contrasting yarn to sew up a bunch of rectangles into a great sweater.
By downloading these three patterns you pay less than the price of two patterns individually mailed! And you don't pay for shipping -- That adds up to big savings.
Yarn Suggestion: Virtually any type of yarn will do for these projects. Will need approximately 20-24 ounces, depending on size.
As with all SpinCraft Knitting Patterns these items can be knit to any size, using almost any yarn. What you will do is measure yourself, measure the gauge that comes from your yarn, and then perform some easy calculations to get the figures needed to knit this piece. You are the designer!
And best of all ... You can download all these patterns instantly into your computer!
