Knit Vest

Skill Level: Easy. Need to know how to increase/decrease. Yarn Suggestion: Any yarn, any size. Very versatile. Will need approximately 10 to 18 ounces, depending on size.

Lace Knit Vest

Skill Level: Experienced. Lace patterns are given as written instructions, and also in charts. Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Will need approximately 8 to 10 ounces, depending on weight of yarn, length and size.
 

I made mine long, but this vest can be made to any length. It is great for dancing! Attractive lace scallops begin on bottom of vest. Lace pattern is simple to follow from charted diagrams.

Crochet Vest Pattern

Skill Level: Easy. Irish Crochet is a bit more challenging. Yarn Suggestion: Good with any weight yarn. Could need anywhere from 8 to 18 ounces, depending on weight of yarn, length and size. Vest starts at bottom. Your choice of easy double crochet, or exotic Irish crochet pattern. Collar is created by simple decreases. You'll be amazed how it works.

Lace Knit Vest Pattern

Skill Level: Intermediate. Uses double moss stitch, followed by an easy, charted lace pattern. Yarn Suggestion: Good with any weight yarn. Will need 6 ounces or more--just knit till you run out.
 

This vest is easy to knit from the top down. You can make it as long as you wish - just keep going until your yarn runs out. It is begun at yoke and shaped with simple increases (like a modified raglan). I used texture and lace patterns on my vest.

Entrelac Knit Vest Pattern

Skill Level: Experienced. After learning entrelac knitting from our charts you may find it quite easy. Uses short rows for shaping yoke. Yarn Suggestion: Any weight yarn. Will need approximately 12 to 15 ounces, depending on size.
 

Knit Vest Pattern

Skill Level: Easy. Great beginner's pattern. Yarn Suggestion: Good with any weight yarn. Will need approximately 8 to 12 ounces, depending on size.
 

This is a simple pattern that is appreciated by beginning knitters. Pattern starts at the bottom front, arms and neck and shaped, and back is finished to match. All in one piece then folded over at the shoulders and side seams sewn. Two neck variations. My vests are plain - you add the flare.

Lace Knit Vest Pattern

Skill Level: Intermediate. Lace on this vest is quite simple with charts to follow. Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Will need approximately 6 to 12 ounces, depending on size. Start at the yoke and knit down, first in a simple faggot lace, then in a feather and fan pattern. This vest is wonderful in a light cotton, or linen yarn. If made with cotton, and to a length below the hips, it is a perfect beach jacket to throw on over a swim suit.

Knit Vest Pattern

Skill Level: Easy. Nice beginnier's pattern. A band of lace is added on bottom for more intermediate knitters. Yarn Suggestion: Good with any weight yarn, but a light cotton makes the most sense for a comfortable wear. Will need approximately 8 to 12 ounces, depending on size. A nice summer project from cotton or hemp. This tank top is easy to knit and easy to fit. Made in the same way as "Easiest Vest."

Knit Scarf Pattern

Skill Level: Intermediate. Uses numerous knit-purl texture patterns. I use it in knitting lessons to teach the value of the purl stitch.
Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine to medium weight yarn. Will need approximately 5 to 6 ounces, depending on size.

This scarf uses ten patterns combining the knit purl stitch. Perfect for the knitter wishing to increase skills. Looks great too!

Lace Knit Scarf Pattern

Skill Level: Experienced. Beautiful lace that grows from a point.
Yarn Suggestion: Best with a fine weight yarn. Will need approximately 4 ounces, depending on size.

This scarf wraps around your neck with one side tucking into a little sleeve on the other. Two versions: garter stitch and lace. Very stylish and easy to make.
